Professor Huang Xiaoying, director of Chinese Department, School of Overseas Education, Northeast Normal University, has devoted herself to the field of TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) in theory and teaching practice in recent years. She was the main author of a number of textbooks on TCFL, including Quick Method to Improve Overall Skills of Chinese, Grammar Through Pictures: Practical Chinese Grammar Textbook With Pictorial Aids. She was also in charge of many projects and published more than 10 papers in this field.
